Aceh Cocoa Forum: Cocoa Plants in Aceh need Rejuvenation

The Aceh Cocoa Forum asked Aceh government to initiate rehabilitation and rejuvenation of cocoa plants that were less productive because aging plant. Ir. Teuku Iskandar, M.Si., Chairman of Aceh Cocoa Forum said, “The area of cocoa plantations owned by the people in Aceh is currently around 100,000 hectares spread over 10 districts/cities. However, most of the plants are aging.”
