Barry Callebaut Optimistic Cocoa and Chocolate Market in Indonesia Has a Positive Trend

Bandung, October 07, 2022 - Producer of cocoa and chocolate products, Barry Callebaut, is optimistic that the cocoa and chocolate market in Indonesia has a positive trend. The reason is that industrial conditions getting better after the Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, Indonesia's annual chocolate consumption is still relatively small. Data shows that the consumption per capita is approximately 0.3 grams.

“Customer demand for our cocoa and chocolate products shows a positive trend, and the situation has returned to the time before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. Increased consumer optimism for economic growth in Indonesia good sign for food producers like us,” said Ciptadi Sukono, Managing Director of Barry Callebaut in Bandung, recently.
