In this FACT Dialogue talk show, Fay Fay Choo, as Asia Cocoa Director of Mars, explained the diverse innovations that had been created by Mars. The innovations were aligned with the four pillars of FACT, which were (1). Research, development and innovation; (2). Support for smallholder farmers; (3). Traceability and transparency; and (4). Trade and market development. Fay Fay Choo also presented diverse perspectives and recommendations from Mars to the public in this Dialogue event.
“We've been working with cocoa farmers in Indonesia for more than 10 years, and now backed by our Cocoa for Generations (C4G) Strategy launched in 2018, we have opportunity to share the progress and learnings that we have,” said Fay Fay Choo, Asia Cocoa Director of Mars. “The key now is how we are taking these learning and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to create a blueprint that can be scaled into the overall supply chain for a long-lasting systemic change,” she continued.
Mars believes through partnerships and action-oriented coalitions, together we can find and scale breakthrough solutions to sustainable growth. (CSP/AV)
