Meeting between ICCO, ASKINDO, and CSP with Bappenas

Jakarta, 22 May 2025 - Michel Arrion, Executive Director of the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO), along with the Indonesian Cocoa Association (ASKINDO), and the Cocoa Sustainability Partnership (CSP), held a productive meeting with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), represented by Rama G. Notowidido, B.Sc., MBA., and staff from the Directorate of Food and Agriculture.

The discussion touched upon increasing cocoa productivity and strengthening Indonesia's commercial and industrial position in Southeast Asia as a center for the transformation and export of processed cocoa products. Moreover, the meeting also discussed challenges in developing the cocoa industry and strategies to increase collaboration between stakeholders in the cocoa sector.
